MASL provides a context in which GVSU students and faculty can develop expertise in mobile technology. Whether you are interested in learning the latest SDK’s
or you’re interested in exploring how mobile technology might be applied in your particular areas of interest, we want you to get involved. There are a variety of way you can get involved.
Everybody in the GVSU community is welcome to join us at our regular MASL Meetups. These are one hour meetings held in seminar format in which a speaker (or speakers) present a mobile-related topic, followed by a Q&A discussion sessions. Our speakers are typically faculty, staff and students talking about their mobile project, and an occasional external speaker we invite.
In terms of paid positions in the lab, if you are a CIS graduate student, we do have offer a limited number of full-time/part-time graduate assistantships. To be considered for a GA, please send us a copy of your resume. We also do have a limited number of funded projects that CIS and/or engineering undergraduates with exceptional programming skills can get involved in. Feel free to contact us if you are interested.
If you simply want to learn the SDK’s and/or work with other faculty and students on mobile-related projects, we also welcome volunteer involvement on a variety of GVSU campus-related mobile apps that we are working on.
